Kenneth Owen Seaver

Kenneth Owen Seaver, 81, of South Main St., Nichols passed away on Tuesday evening, September 20, 2011. Ken was born on December 4, 1929 in Endicott, NY a son of the late Frederick Jennings and Freda Elizabeth (Wage) Seaver. He was a member of the Barton United Methodist Church where he served as church trustee and a member of the Smithboro Masonic Lodge. He proudly served his country with the US Navy on the Franklin D. Roosevelt. He was a retired employee of General Electric in Endicott. Ken treasured his family, enjoyed singing, music and spending time in his garden. He is survived by his wife Corinne L. (Ball) Seaver; children: Linda (Seaver) Stanic of Davie, Fla; Wayne and Darla Seaver of Chester, Va; Kimberly (Seaver) and Mark Burnett of Barton, NY; Kenneth "Kip" and Kendra Seaver of Barton, NY; step children: Vicki Williams of Nichols; Charles Jr. and Kim Atchison of Nichols; a sister Jerrine Zorn; fourteen grandchildren, several great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and their families also survive. A private family service will be held on Saturday, September 24, 2011 at 6 pm at the Sutfin Funeral Chapel, 273 S. Main St., Nichols with Pastor Alan Bill, officiating.
