Kevin S. Slaughter

It broke our hearts to lose you, but you didn't go alone, for part of us went with you the day God called you home.... Kevin S. Slaughter, 62, of Barton, NY passed away peacefully at his home on Tuesday, July 12, 2022 following a courageous battle with Cancer. Kevin was born on April 8, 1960 in Bernese, Louisiana a son of the late Melvin "Sam" and Karen (Way) Slaughter. He proudly served his country with the US Airforce from 1986 to 1989. Kevin was a machinist and was employed by Lockheed Martin in Owego. He enjoyed touring the country side on his motorcycle, feeding the birds and having his canine companion Roscoe by his side. Kevin will be greatly missed by his children: Michael (Sarah) Slaughter of Newark Valley; Jessica Clark of Corning, NY; his special grandchildren: Kaiden & Riley Slaughter; Mckenzie Callahan Miller, Gavin Clark and Dylan Clark. His sisters: Susan Davis and Karen Smith. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and their families. Abiding with his wishes, there will be no services.
