Lisa A. Ford

Softly in the morning you heard a gentle call, you took the hand God offered you and quietly left us all.....Lisa A. Ford, 62, of Orwell Hill Rd., Rome, Pa passed away suddenly following a period of declining health on Thursday, November 23, 2017. Lisa was born on January 31, 1955 in Deposit, NY a daughter of the late Hogan Ralph and Goldie Mae (King) Teed. Lisa was employed as a Transcriptionist at the Guthrie Clinic and later for MModal Services. She was a devoted member of the Dille Parish United Church of Christ where she participated in the church choir. A talented crafter, Lisa enjoyed knitting and crocheting. She also enjoyed gardening and sharing her wonderful spaghetti sauce with her family and friends. If loved could have saved her, she would have lived for forever… Those left to cherish Lisa's memory are her husband of 25 years: Nigel S. Ford; her children: Heather Donenko of Phoenix, AZ; Paul (Sherry) Kapr of Wilmington, NC: and Jonathon Donenko of Whitney Point, NY; her special grandchildren: Lillian, Aidan, Amelia, Isabella, William and Reuben; her siblings: Gary Teed; Richard (Kathy) Teed; Sharon (Randy) Rought; Raymond Teed (Edna Survilla); Stacey (Bonnie) Teed. Her mother-in-law: Janet Carr; her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Gavin Ford, Dreck (Des) Ford, Jared (Stacy) Ford; a uncle Clark Teed, aunt Emily Teed; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and nine feline friends also survive. Family and friends are invited to attend a period of visitation on Thursday, November 30th from 4 to 7 pm at the Sutfin Funeral Chapel, 273 S. Main St., Nichols. A period of visitation will also be held on Friday, December 1st from 10 to 11 am at the Dille Parish United Church of Christ ~ Potterville. A funeral service and celebration of Lisa's life will follow at 11 am at the church. Interment and prayers of committal will follow in the Orwell Cemetery.
