Lois C. Seifert

Lois C. Seifert, 90, formerly of Easton, PA passed away Saturday, July 18, 2015 at Wilson Hospital. She was predeceased by her husband of nearly 67 years, Ralph on April 25, 2015. She was born on December 13, 1924 in Easton, Pennsylvania, she was the very devoted daughter of the late Ralph and Carrie Hoadley Huston, Sr. For over 50 years, she was an active member of Calvary United Methodist Church, Palmer Twp., PA where she sang in the choir and taught Sunday school. Lois was a member of Chapter # 214, Order of Eastern Star and served as minority clerk of the Eighth Ward West. She was a graduate of Easton High School. Lois loved to cook and bake, especially vanilla Christmas cookies. She enjoyed singing and listen to gospel music and hearing Billy Graham and Joel Osteen preach. Lois was an outdoors girl and enjoyed working in her flower garden. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law: Gary and Susie (Darling) Seifert of Warren Center, Pa; her grandchildren: Sarah Seifert, Bette Seifert, Sara Chaffee, James (Kelly) Chaffee, Tim (Abbie) Chaffee; great grandchildren, Hunter, Jordyn, Isaiah, Josie and Luna, A brother, Ralph Huston, Jr. and wife, Shirley. She was preceded in death by her husband Ralph, a sister, Phyllis Jeavons and puppy, Buffy. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 25 at 11 am at the Independent Bible Church, Little Meadows. Interment will be held at the convenience of the family in the Colburn-Dewing Cemetery.
