Louann Shirley

When someone you love becomes a memory…the memory becomes a treasure LouAnn Shirley, 58, of Endicott, NY passed away in her sleep on Saturday, October 27, 2018 at her home. LouAnn was born on February 6, 1960 in the Town of Barton, a daughter of the late Eugene and Lillian (Doty) Shirley. She was a graduate of Union Endicott High School class of 1978. She enjoyed spending time fishing, taking walks and enjoying mother nature's beauty, watching her favorite Denver Bronco's win ~ although her greatest pleasure was being with her children and grandchildren. Those left to cherish LouAnn's memory are her children ~ Shawn Jorgensen and Brandy Jorgensen of Endicott; her special grandchildren: Domanic, Jeramiah, Nathan, Natalie, Noah and Nelson; her siblings: Ronald (Sharon) Shirley of Poplar Bridge, NY; William Shirley of Auburn, NY; Paul (Monica) Shirley of Germany; David (Darlene) Shirley of Colorado; Linda (Rick) Fiacco of Endicott, NY; Rosemarie Shirley of Elmira, NY; Sarah (Melody) Shirley-Eldred of VT; Susan Smith of Alabama; Ruth Tingley of Binghamton, NY; her former husband Jim (Karen) Jorgensen; her father-in-law: Richard Frost of Nichols; her sister-in-law and brothers-in-law: Linda (James) Franzese; Gary Jorgensen and Michael Jorgensen; several nieces, nephews among them a special niece Jocelyn Tingley; and many cousins also survive. LouAnn was welcomed into heaven by her longtime companion Patrick "Pat" O'Brien; her parents Eugene and Lillian (Doty) Shirley; a brother Jim Shirley; her mother-in-law: Rosario Frost; a brother-in-law: Jeff Quick; and a nephew Casey Quick.
