Louis M. Kotasek

Louis M. Kotasek, 85, of Nichols passed away on Tuesday, September 30, 2014 at the Robert Packer Hospital. He is survived by his brothers: Peter (Anna S.) Kotasek, Lawrence (Lillian) Kotasek, Karl Kotasek, Thomas (Anna F.) Kotasek; sisters Sophie Comfort, Frances (B. Joseph) Vlasak, Marie (Roy) Nersesian; many nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. Louis was predeceased by his wife Barbara, his parents Matthew and Katerina (Nesvadbova) Kotasek, brother John (Stella) Kotasek. He proudly served his country with the US Navy from 1948-1952. For many years, Louis was employed by various excavating and road construction companies. He was a member of the International Engineers Operators Union. Burial will be at the convenience of the family at the Vestal Hills Memorial Park.
