Louise C. Brown Tucker

Louise C. Brown Tucker, 85, of Windham, Pa passed away peacefully Thursday morning, December 13, 2012 at the Skilled Nursing Unit of the Towanda Memorial Hospital. Louise was born on November 12, 1927 in Waverly, NY a daughter of Lester and Edith Casterline. A loving wife, mother and grandmother, Louise was a farmer's wife and homemaker. She was a member of the Windham Ladies Aid and enjoyed camping, fishing, square dancing and traveling. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Louise is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law: Larry and Lois Brown of Windham, Robert and Sharon Brown of Windham; her grandchildren: Kevin and Becky Brown of Windham; Shelley and Don Litzelman of Dushore; David and Joy Brown of Windham; Lisa Brown of Windham; Kim and Karl Jefferson of Windham; Robert and Kelly Brown of Windham; her great grandchildren: Monica and Megan Brown, Cody and Caleb Litzelman, Justin, Troy and Jaycee Brown, Jordan and Colton Snyder; Katy and Karlie Jefferson; Carter and Cooper Brown; her sister Donna Casterline of Waverly; several nieces, nephews and their families also survive. Louise was predeceased by her first husband Walter Brown in 1975; second husband Keith Tucker in 1981; and her partner of 28 years Edwin Shaffer in 2010; her sister Marie Payne and brother Donald Casterline. Family and friends are invited to attend a period of visitation on Sunday, December 16th from 12 to 1 pm at the Sutfin Funeral Chapel, 273 S. Main St., Nichols. Funeral services and a celebration of Louise's life will follow at 1pm with Pastor Dan Martin, officiating. Interment will follow in the Nichols Cemetery.
