Lucille E. Chavez

Lucille E. Chavez, 96, of Nichols, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Tuesday, September 15, 2015 at the Elderwood at Tioga Nursing Home in Waverly. Lucille was born on November 13, 1918 in LosAngeles, California a daughter of the late Willis and Catherine (Padraes) Lopaz. Lucille treasured her family, she always looked forward to dining out at area Chinese buffets and making them craft items. Lucille is survived by her daughter and son-in-law: Georgieann and Richard Olmstead of Nichols; her grandchildren: Jeff (Jennifer) Olmstead; Joe (Krysia) Olmstead; and Marie (Brandon) Campbell; her great grandchildren: Eric, Julia, Emily, April, Amber, Alexis, Hugo and Brandon Michael. Several nieces, nephews and their families also survive. Lucille was predeceased by her son Willis Chavez; her sisters: Jessie, Josephine, Lupe; brothers: Paul, Willis and Peter. Family and friends are invited to attend a period of visitation on Monday, September 21, 2015 from 4- 6 pm at the Sutfin Funeral Chapel, 273 S. Main St., Nichols.
