Lula Jane (Foust) Frisbee, affectionately known as Lu to her friends and family, passed away peacefully on December 26, 2025, in Sayre, PA. Born on September 21, 1947, in Waverly, NY, she was one of the 13 cherished children of Arthur and Pearl (Dean) Foust. Lula's life was a beautiful tapestry woven with love, kindness, and creativity, and her memory will be treasured by all who knew her.

An alumna of Tioga Central High School, class of 1966, Lu was known for her dedication to her family from a young age, often caring for her younger siblings after school. This nurturing spirit extended throughout her life, touching all who knew her.

She is survived by her loving children: Nikki Felicita (Frank Garrison), Carla (Michael) Mente, and Thomas (Clarice) Frisbee. Her legacy also lives on through her special grandchildren: James (Amanda) Rogers, Deana (Aaron) Cole, and Luna LuAnn Frisbee, as well as her great-grandchildren: Lily Rogers, Cameron Johnson, and KayDence Cole. Lula's siblings, Mary (Nick) Klym, Susan (Steve) Franzese, Pearl (Kevin) Brown, John (Tracy) Foust, Dean Foust, and Rick (Rita) Foust, along with her sisters-in-law Diane Foust and JoAnn Wagner Foust, hold dear the memories of their times together. She also leaves behind her special friends, Debbie and David Hildebrandt, and Faith and Bob Garfield-Reep, who were like family to her.

Lula was predeceased by her parents, Arthur and Pearl Foust, and her siblings: Albert, Bob, Glen, William, Sarah Foust, and Penny Archibald. She was also preceded in death by her nephews: Thomas J. McCall, Erik Franzese, Donnie "Bud" Archibald, great-nephew Derek Archibald, and niece Sarah Foust. Her love for animals was profound, and she was reunited with her beloved dogs: Put Put, Pal (yes, there were two of them), and Sadie.

Lu's home was a haven of warmth and love, especially during the holidays. As the undisputed Queen of Christmas, she took joy in transforming her home into a winter wonderland, her totes upon totes of decorations a testament to her passion for the season. She eagerly anticipated the tradition of making Candy Cane cookies with her family and was an exceptional baker whose culinary creations brought comfort and joy to many.

Her love for animals extended beyond her pets; Lula was also a skilled horsewoman. She rode, raised, and trained horses with a gentle and expert touch. Many will fondly remember her riding her horse in the Nichols Old Home Labor Day Parade, a sight that brought smiles to the faces of onlookers.  Lula's interests were as vibrant as her personality. She was an avid viewer of Hartland and Supernatural, and she enjoyed the show and the excitement of Chicago Fire and PD, often remarking that the "guys were nice to look at" with a twinkle in her eye. Although Lu could be described as stubborn, spicy, and set in her ways, it was clear to all that her heart and home were always open to those she loved.
