Marion E. Hutchinson, 82 Softly in the morning, you heard a gentle call, you took the hand God offered you and quietly left us all….Marion E. (Wheaton) Hutchinson, 82, of Cadis, Pa passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 21, 2018 following a brief period of declining health. Mamie, as she was known by her family was born on February 25, 1935 on the family farm in Windham, Pa. She was the daughter of the late Cyrus and Matilda (Taylor) Wheaton. Mamie graduated from Rome High School in 1953 and in 1957 she graduated from Mansfield Teaching College. On October 28, 1961 she married Russell J. "Jack" Hutchinson and together they owned and operated a successful dairy farm for over fifty years. Devoted to her family, Mamie enjoyed cooking, baking and always looked forward to the holidays. She took great pride in her home, being a farmer's wife and treasured the visits from her grandsons. In addition she was a member of St. Thomas the Apostolate Church. Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 56 years, Jack Hutchinson; her sons and daughter-in-law: Christopher J. and Alicia Hutchinson; Mark M. Hutchinson; her grandsons: Zachary and Connor whom she was so proud of all their accomplishments; her sister Sarah Tyrrell; sister-in-law: Dolores Wheaton; several nieces and nephews among them: Beth Wheaton, Richard Hutchinson; special cousin Peter A. Niznik; longtime family friend Dennis Coleman; and her feline friend Maggie. She was predeceased by her parents, son Robert "Bobby" Hutchinson; brothers Charles (Marjorie) Wheaton; Walter Wheaton; sister Adelle Wheaton; brother-in-law Vernon Tyrrell; and a nephew Charles "Chuck" Wheaton. Abiding with Marion's wishes, there will be no services. She will be laid to rest at St. Luke's Cemetery in Warren Center.
