Marjorie M. Tyrrell

Marjorie M. Tyrrell, 84, of Woodhaven Dr.,Owego, NY passed away on Friday evening, September 25, 2009 at her home. Marjorie is survived by her husband of 63 years, Murray H. Tyrrell; her children: Marcia R. Jenks; Dana M. Tyrrell, Sr., Julie (Jay) Harding; five grandchildren, four great grandchildren; five nieces and a nephew also survive. She was predeceased by her parents Harry W. and Jessie (Tucker) Chubb, sisters: Doris Marble and Onalee Kravic; a nephew Pastor Gary Kuhns. A life long resident of Owego, Marjorie was born on December 3, 1924. She was a graduate of Owego Free Academy Class of 1942 and on July 14, 1946, Marjorie married Murray H. Tyrrell. Marjorie enjoyed reading, had a great love for animals and treasured the time spent with her family. A private graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family on Thursday in the Tioga Cemetery with Pastor Alan Jagger, officiating.
