A heart of gold stopped beating, two willing hands at rest, God broke our hearts to prove to us he only takes the best…..

Mark E. Stranger, 65, of Nichols passed away on Monday, October 17, 2022 following a courageous battle with Cancer. Mark was born on August 17, 1957 in Elmira, NY a son of Marie Gladys (Rosenkrans) and the late Clarence L. Stranger. Mark owned and operated L & M Computers in Nichols. He was a lifetime fan of the NY Jets and NY Mets. The holidays were always made brighter when Mark and Lisa would share the holiday spirit and dress as Santa and Mrs. Claus. He also will be missed by many especially his friends at the Athens American Legion when they gathered for Sunday Fundays.

In addition to his mother, Marie he will be greatly missed by his wife Lisa; his children: Adam Eugene Stranger;  Adam Plane; his sisters: Yvonne Kent, several step siblings; his canine companions: Loki, Jasper, Sable, Raven. He was predeceased by his sister: Darlene (Louis) Matthews, brother Eric Stranger; brother-in-law: Steve Kent and his canine companion Jazzy.
