Marsha L. Wolcott

When tomorrow starts without me, try to understand, an angel came and called my name, then took me by the hand ~ Marsha L. Wolcott, 70, of Nichols, passed away on Thursday, August 10, 2017 following a period of declining health. Marsha was born on September 18, 1946 in Waverly, a daughter of the late Gerald and Ruth (Baker) Thompson. A loving mother and grandmother, Marsha also enjoyed crocheting, bird watching, and was a collector of butterflies and snowmen. For many years, Marsha was employed at Harvard Manufacturing and Catalyst in Owego. Her smile and caring ways will be greatly missed by her family and many friends ~ she will be forever remembered and forever missed. Those left to cherish her memory are ~ her daughters: Zina Chandler and Sol Eschenburg of Athens, Pa; Tina Driesbaugh and Keith Taber, Jr., of Barton, NY; her siblings: Avis Haxton of Athens, PA; Belinda Randall of Litchfield, Pa; Georganna Ellers and Cindy Thompson both of Waverly; her special grandchildren: Marsha Chandler of Athens, Pa ; Gerald Chandler of Sayre, Pa; Jessica Chandler of Mifflinburg, Pa; Michelle Driesbaugh of Nichols, NY; Tabitha Wildoner of Auburn Center, Pa; great grandchildren: Allen, Ashlynn, Joseph, Kamden, Madelynn, Brayden and Alanah; nieces and nephews: Pam Lahar, Collette Ellers, TJ Haxton, Sheena Haxton, Jeffery Cannavino, Todd Randall and Tom Frost. Marsha was predeceased by her parents Gerald and Ruth Thompson; a brother Gerald Thompson. Family and friends are invited to attend a period of visitation on Friday, August 25, 2017 from 5 to 6 pm. A memorial service and celebration of her life will follow at 6 pm.
