Those we love don't go away, they walk beside us everyday. Unseen, unheard, but always near, so loved, so missed, so very dear......Our hearts were broken, on Tuesday, June 19th , 2012 with the sudden and unexpectedly passing of our mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and friend, Mary E. Vinson, 47, of Lockwood, New York. Mary was born on October 17, 1964 a daughter of Sylvia Beth and the late Lloyd French. She was a graduate of Northeast Bradford High School class of 1983. A loving and caring spirit, Mary lived life to the fullest. She was the owned and operated Hydro-Berry Farms which provided produce to area farm stands and area grocery stores to include Wegman's. She was currently employed as a cashier at Tioga Downs and will be greatly missed by her friends there. Mary enjoyed gardening, baking, tending to her bees and being surrounded by her family. If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, we'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again. Mary will be missed by so many, her son Darris Vinson and ol' lady Jolene Spencer; daughter Melissa Vinson and ol' man Gabriel Sauerbafer; mother Beth French; sisters Lois (Dale) Bennett; Carol French (Claude Arnold); a brother Lloyd French; grandchildren: Davyn, Balloo, Miriam, Maximus, and Adriannah; step daughters Emily and Jessica; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends also survive. Mary was predeceased by her father Lloyd French; maternal grandparent Thomas and Theresa (Roman) Chaffee; paternal grandparents Miles and Mildred (Merrill) French. A time of remembering and sharing memories will be held at the Sutfin Funeral Chapel, 273 S. Main St., Nichols on Saturday from 10 until 12 noon. A luncheon and gathering for family and friends will follow at Tioga Downs.
