Mary L. Rignall

Mary L. Rignall, 76, of 32 R Pine Street, Waverly, NY passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 9, 2007. Mary was born on September 27, 1931 in Litchfield, Pa a daughter of the late Walter B. and Margaret (Bowman) Bostwick. For many years, Mary was an at home health care provider serving families in Tioga and Bradford Counties. She will be remembered for her gift of writing poetry and care for others. Mary is survived by her daughters Linda and husband Jose' Serrano; Donna Dailey and companion Travis; her son Daniel and Lorraine Rignall; her brother and sister-in-law Walter and Mildred Bostwick; sister Charlotte Johnston; sisters-in-law Winifred Bostwick; Mary Bostwick, and her sister-in-law and caregiver Linda Bostwick; twelve grandchildren among them Lawanda Brown who was also a caregiver to Mary, numerous great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews also survive. Mary was predeceased by her husband Ralph Rignall in 1976; her companion Archie Brownell in 1986; her son Floyd J. Rignall, infant son Harry Walter Rignall; great granddaughter Emily Brown, brother-in-law Fred Johnston, Edward Bostwick, Melvin (Norma) Bostwick, Gilbert Bostwick, Stephen Bostwick, and sister Lillian (Robert) Evans. Funeral services and a celebration of Mary's life will be held on Wednesday, December 12, 2007 at 11 am at the Sutfin Funeral Chapel, 273 South Main St., Nichols with Pastor Doug Brock of the Straits Corners Baptist Church, officiating. Interment and prayers of committal will follow in the Nichols Cemetery. A period of visitation and sharing memories will be held on Tuesday, December 11th from 7 to 9 pm at the funeral chapel and on Wednesday from 10 am until the time of the service.
