Maryjane Donaldson Goodenough

MaryJane (Donaldson) Goodenough, 86, of Temple Street, Owego, passed away peacefully with her family at her side on Sunday, April 5, 2009. MaryJane is survived by her husband Harvey Goodenough of nearly 63 years, a daughter and son-in-law: Connie (Stephen) Fedorowicz; daughter-in-law: Eloise Goodenough; sister Madeline Donaldson, brother Thomas Donaldson; grandchildren: Michelle Scott Pierce, Suzanne Scott Little, Thomas Walter Scott, Darcie Ann Goodenough; seven great grandchildren: Logan, MaKenna, Sawyer, Walker, Isabella, Wayne and Benjamin; several nieces, nephews and their families also survive. She was predeceased by her son Robert Goodenough on September 8, 1986. MaryJane was born on January 17, 1923 in Nanty Glo, Pa a daughter of the late John W. and Mary (Baldwin) Donaldson. A devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, MaryJane treasured the time spent with family. She enjoyed playing cards, Bingo and refinishing furniture. A time of remembering the special gift MaryJane was to all of us will be held on Thrusday, April 9th at 11 am at the Sutfin Funeral Chapel, 273 South Main St., Nichols with Pastor Donna Martin, officiating. A period of visitation and time of sharing memories will be held on Wednesday from 7-9 pm at the funeral chapel and on Thursday from 10 am until the time of the service.
