Michael Christopher Meade

It broke our hearts to lose you, but you didn't go alone, for part of us went with you, the day God called you home….Michael  Christopher  Meade, 32, of Columbus, Ohio went home to his heavenly home on August 19, 2016.  Michael was born on November 10, 1983 in Abilene, Texas the son of Cynthia (Williams) and the late Bruce Allen Meade.  He was a graduate of Buckeye High School and received his Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science from Ohio State University.  Michael was a talented trumpet player, enjoyed riding his motorcycle, and was proud of his body building abilities.  He especially loved spending time with his nieces, Lauryl, Samantha and Norah and his sister Liz, whom he loved with all of his heart. His smile and gentle ways will always be remembered.   Michael will be forever missed by his mother Cynthia Meade; his sister and brother-in-law: Elizabeth and Matt Akenhead; his nieces: Lauryl, Samantha and Norah; aunts and uncles: Abby (Daniel) Jones, Susan Edsell, Patty (LaRue) Harkness, Archie "Skip" (Lisa) Williams, Mike (Jennifer) Williams, Shannon (LaMar) Crosby;Shawn (John) Provost ; and many, many cousins.  Michael was welcomed into heaven by his father Bruce; his maternal grandparents Archie and Mary Williams.  He will be forever remembered and forever missed ~  until we meet again Michael, may you find comfort in the arms of the angels.   A time of gathering for family and friends will be held on Sunday, August 28th from  11:00 am to  noon at the Sutfin Funeral Chapel, 273 S.
