Michael J. Riley

Michael James Riley, 81, of Delhi, NY and formerly of Binghamton, NY passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 22, 2022 at the Delhi Rehab and Nursing Center. Michael was born on March 2, 1941 in Warrenham, Pennsylvania one of 12 children of Vincent and Catherine (Maxwell) Riley. A talented, and knowledgeable carpenter, Michael handcrafted many homes and remolding projects. He enjoyed and found great comfort in listening to the radio and was always thinking and constructing plans for the next building project.

Mike will be greatly missed by his daughters: Lisa Floyd of Sayre, Pa; Laurie (Joel) Alexander of Athens, Pa; Lois (Kirby) Allen of Apalachin; his grandchildren: Douglas Riley Rae, JacqueSue Wright, EJ Floyd, Liza Henderson, Naomi Allen, Crystal Allen and Kirby Allen, Jr.; his great grandchildren: Jonathan, Trinity, Leah, Lacey, Mason, Emily, Madeline, Savannah, and Bentley; his siblings: Patricia Hutchinson, Catherine Edsell, Dorothy Angel, Barbara Boland, Jane Nichols, John “Jack” Riley and Thomas Riley. Several nieces, nephews, cousins and their families also survive. Michael was welcomed into heaven by his parents; his son Michael Riley, Jr; and siblings: Agnes Neville, Joseph Riley, Mary Lynch, and Ann Silvernail.
