Michael Peter Buttacavoli, 30, of Warren Center, passed away on April 11, 2024. “Mike,” as he was affectionately known, was born on March 14, 1994, the son of Patricia A. Buttacavoli and the late Joseph P. Buttacavoli. Michael was known for his friendly demeanor and kind spirit, touching the lives of many with his warmth and generosity.


Mike was a cherished brother and brother-in-law to Joseph and Kathia Buttacavoli and a half-brother to Celeste Carangi, Charlene Buttacavoli, and Jennifer Buttacavoli. He was the proud uncle of his nephew Lucca and is survived by numerous extended family and many friends. Mike was predeceased by his father Joseph P. Buttacavoli in 2021.


Michael's passion for the natural world was a defining characteristic of his life. He found solace and excitement in fishing. His love for aquatic life extended to maintaining aquariums, a hobby that brought him immense joy and tranquility. Beyond the water, Michael had a profound appreciation for all wildlife and the great outdoors. He spent countless hours in nature, whether he was hunting or simply reveling in the beauty of the wilderness. He had a special affinity for reptiles, marveling at their resilience and diversity. His respect for living creatures and the environment was an inspiration to everyone who knew him. He was also fond of dogs, particularly his late beagle, Dixie, whom he loved very much.

As we say goodbye to Michael, we celebrate the time we were fortunate enough to spend with him. His memory will be treasured in the stories we share and the impact he made on our lives. Mike's spirit will continue to live on through the love he gave, the work he created, and the natural world he so deeply cherished.
