Mrs Anna E. Crain

Anna E. Crain, 92, of Bumpville Rd., passed away on Sunday, April 22, 2012 following a period of declining health. Anna was born on August 18, 1919 in Athens, PA a daughter of the late Jesse Earl and Nevah Robinson. In her earlier years, Anna was employed with Sayre Lingerie and assisted her husband Clarence with the operation of the farm. She enjoyed cooking although her greatest pleasure was being surrounded by her family. Anna will be greatly missed by her sons and daughters-in-law: C. Kenneth and Ruth Crain; Keith L. and Karen Crain all of Bumpville, Pa; a sister Ruby Robinson Durrand of Athens, Pa; over seventy grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews and their families also survive. She was predeceased by her husband Clarence Kellogg Crain on July 3, 1985, her sons Charles Richard Bennett, William Jesse Bennett; grandchildren: Thomas Joseph Bennett and Teresa Bennett Hrubes; a great grandson Bruce Michael Hrubes; brothers: Earl, Donald, Jesse, George Robinson; sister Mabel Fassett. Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial service and celebration of Anna's life on Sunday, April 29th at 3 pm at the Windham Summit Bible Church. A luncheon and time of sharing will follow the service. Interment and prayers of committal were held at the convenience of the family in the Bumpville Cemetery. Pallbearers were: Brian Bennett, Scott Bennett, Steven Crain and Jason Crain.
