Nate was the cherished son of Carol Ann Vanzile and James Robert Cole, and a beloved brother to Joceyln, Kiersten, and Nicholas, who is engaged to Niyanni. He shared a unique and special bond with his cousin Lexi, who was like a sister to him. Nathan was the adored grandson of Andrew Novakowski and Dani Taylor. His life was enriched by the love of several aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his paternal great-great-grandparents, Dorla and Bill Smith, whose memories he held dear.

Turtle's academic journey was marked by his time at Waverly High School from 2018 to 2021, where his athletic prowess shone on the baseball diamond as both a pitcher and shortstop. His competitive spirit also led him to participate on the school's tennis team. He was a proud graduate of Elmira High School, class of 2025, where he left an indelible mark on his teachers and peers alike.

Nate began his working career at Employment Solutions and was recently employed at the Pladis Candy Factory in Big Flats, NY. His colleagues will remember him for his smile and always giving two thumbs up!

Turtle had a passion for the creative arts, his talent for drawing animation was remarkable; he could bring characters and stories to life with just a pencil and paper. Furthermore, his love for Lego Kits showcased his patience and attention to detail as he constructed intricate cars and sculptures.

In every aspect of his life, Nate was loving, kind, and thoughtful. His presence was a gift to all who had the privilege of knowing him, and he will be profoundly missed.
