Norma E. Milner, 87, of North Orwell, Pa passed away on Sunday, December 9, 2007 at the Skilled Nursing Unit of Towanda Memorial Hospital following a period of declining health. Norma was born on November 18, 1920 in Tyrrell Hill, Pa. Daughter of the late Floyd and Ida (McKenzie) Tyrrell. She was a graduate of Rome High School and a member of the North Orwell Union Church. Norma was a long time employee of the Nichols Agway and enjoyed gardening, crafts and was an avid reader. She was a member of the Windham and Nichols Senior Citizens, Windham Ladies Aid and Northeast Neighbors. She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law: Dennis and Diane Milner of Virginia; Randall Milner of California; and Jeffrey and Tina Milner of Rome, Pa; her sister Marion Beckwith of Sayre; sister-in-law Sarah Tyrrell of Rome, grandchildren: Kristin, Phillip, Kelsey, Ty, Renata, Matthew and Christopher. Three great grandchildren Harmony, Melody and Taytlyn. Many nieces, nephews and their families also survive. Norma was predeceased by her husband John "Jack" Milner on October 2, 1985, her sister Leona Brown, brother-in-law Walter Brown and brother Vernon Tyrrell. Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial service and celebration of Norma's life on Saturday, December 15th at 11 am at the North Orwell Union Church with her pastor Rev. K. Ben Robinson, officiating. A period of visitation, sharing memories along with a luncheon will follow the service.
