Patricia "Patty" Lynn Millard

Surrounded by her loving family, Patricia "Patty" Lynn Millard, 41, of Pine Street Waverly, NY passed away on Wednesday, August 24, 2011. Patty was born on December 8, 1969 in Waverly a daughter of Shirley (Keene) and the late Clifford Millard. She was a graduate of Waverly High School class of 1988. An outdoors enthusiast, Patty enjoyed spending time on hiking trails and meeting others. She was a member of the Finger Lakes Trail Association. She was formerly employed as a postal clerk at Elmira College and was also employed at Stateline Auto Auction. Until her recent decline in health, she was a filing clerk at Maguires Automotive. Patty will be greatly missed by her daughter Ashley Marie Blakeman, 18, a student at Marshall University in Huntington, W. Virginia; her mother Shirley Millard; siblings: Norma (Joseph) Kurtz; Pamela (Steven) Zwierlein; Sue (Rusty) Morgan; Paul (Rose) Millard; Bob (Kathy) Millage; Ron Millage; Gene (Lyn) Millard; Dale Marshall; June Marshall; Rose Wright. Her faithful canine companions Shadow and Prince; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins also survive. Patty was predeceased by her father Clifford Millard on March 31, 2009 and by her brother Fred Millard Funeral services and a celebration of Patty's life will be held on Saturday, August 27, 2011 at 12 noon at the Waverly United Methodist Church, 158 Chemung Street, Waverly with Pastor Anne Bey Canfield, officiating. Interment will follow in the Glenwood Cemetery. A period of visitation and time of sharing memories will be held at the church from 10 am until the time of the service at noon.
