Paul L. Card, Sr.

Paul L. Card, Sr., 74, of Owego, New York passed away Saturday, January 29, 2011 at Lourdes Hospital, Binghatmon. Paul is survived by his wife of 52 years Joyce M. (Darrah) Card, daughter Jean Bogert, son Paul L. Card, Jr and GiGi Reynolds. Paul has five grandchildren Michelle-Lee Bogert, Patience & Mason Card, Thomas Apker and Marie Cole. In addition Paul is survived by a brother Gordon his wife Ruth Card, sister Barbara & Charles Tennant; two nieces, many nephews and their families also survive. Paul was predeceased by his parents, Lloyd Earl and Merle Lenex (Filan) Card, siblings Frank, Howard, Jean and Velvia. Paul was born on June 17, 1936 in Endwell, New York a son of the late Lloyd Earl and Merle Lenex Filan Card. He was in business for himself as a concrete finisher assisting in many jobs all over the triple cities. Paul was a lifetime member of the Owego Fire Department. A memorial service and celebration of Paul's life will be directed by The Rev. Eric Cimuchowski at Endwell Church of Christ at 3600 Country Club Road Endwell, NY on Tuesday February 1, 2011 at 7:00 pm. The family was assisted by Jody Cooley of Sutfin Funeral Home in Nichols, NY Private Inurnment will be at Vestal Hills Memorial Park at the convenience of the family.
