Gamble, 62, of LeRaysvillle, Pa went home to be with her Lord on Sunday, October 12, 2008 following a courageous battle with Lupus. Paula was born on March 4, 1946 a daughter of Raymond and Elnora (Williams) Willson. She was a graduate of Waverly High School class of 1965. On April 19, 1974, she married Earl J. Gamble. Paula was devoted to her family and treasured the time spent with her grandchildren. Paula also enjoyed sewing, quilting, gardening, scrapbooking and baking cookies for her grandchildren. Paula is survived by her husband of 34 years, Earl J. Gamble; her sons and daughter-in-law: William "Bill" and Lorrie Gamble of Apalachin, NY; David Gamble of LeRaysville, Pa; her daughter and son-in-law: Susan M. and James Russell; her parents Raymond and Elnora Willson of LeRaysville, Pa; brothers and sisters-in-law: Rev. James and Donna Willson of Rochester, NY; Tom and Margaret Willson of Rome, PA; Raymond and Robin Willson of Rome, PA; her sister Claudia Willson of Lockwood, NY; her precious grandchildren: Avery and Emily Russell; Josh and Cassidy Colvin; Lucas, Nick and Sierra Gamble; nieces and nephews: Josh and Jacob Willson; Faith and Angela Willson; Heather Willson, Heidi Petterson ; Tasha Villarreal; a special little girl who brought smiles to Paula's day Jorja Welch; and her special friend and caregiver Dr. Robert Michael's. Paula was predeceased by her sister Glenora Willson; her grandparents: Victor and Gertrude Willson; Pearl and Claudia Williams; and a grandson Lance Gamble. Family and friends are invited to attend a celebration of Paula's life on Thursday, October 16th at 1 pm at the Sutfin Funeral Chapel, 273 South Main St., Nichols with Pastor Dale Anscheutz, Paula's Brother Jim Willson; Pastor Dusty Prudy; Pastor Mike Killingsworth. Interment will follow in the Warren Center Cemetery. A period of visitation and sharing memories of Paula will be held on Wednesday, October 15th from 4 to 7 pm at the Sutfin Funeral Chapel.
