Pauline Joyce Mills, 80 A mother holds her children's hands for a little while and their hearts forever…..our loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother Pauline Joyce Mills, 80, of Ulan Lane, Towanda, Pa passed away peacefully on Monday, December 5, 2011. Pauline was born on April 13, 1931 in Towanda, Pa a daughter of the late Atla and Eugenia (Werkheiser) Roof. She spent the duration of her life living in the Towanda area and was employed by GTP for twenty-five years. Pauline enjoyed visiting the family cottage in Cobden, Ontario, Canada. She treasured the time spent with family, enjoyed traveling the country roads and family picnics. In addition, she enjoyed dancing and visiting with friends. She was loved by everyone who knew her and left an everlasting imprint on all the lives she touched. She will be greatly missed by her daughters and son-in-law: Linda McMunn, Lori and Donald Morgenstern, Valerie Mills, Lisa Benjamin all of Towanda; her special grandchildren: Brandi (Bradlee) McLinko, Bobbie (Nathan) Charnock, Erin (Tom) Zawistowski, Emily Benjamin, and James Lutz, Elizabeth Benjamin and LaVerne Vanderpool all of Towanda; Parris Morgenstern (Fiance Kaylee Sheffler) of Sayre, Pa; Mason Hugo of Monroeton, Pa; and Jordyn Mills of Towanda, Pa; loving great grandmother to: Brayden and Breana McLinko; Ayanna and Kiara Lutz and Kaylan Zawistowski. Her sisters: Virginia Eddy; Anita Moore; Beverly (Kenneth) O'Connor, Norman "Bud" (Regina) Roof. She was predeceased by a daughter Brenda Kay Mills, former husband Philip E. Mills; sister Eunice Eddy; brothers Charles and Malcolm Roof; brother-in-law: George Eddy and Archie Moore; great granddaughters: Veronica Vanderpool and Verity Lutz. Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial service and celebration of her life on Friday, December 9th at 11 am at the Rome Methodist Church with Pastor Leanne H. Campbell, officiating. A period of visitation will be held on Friday from 10 am until the time of the service at the church. Interment and prayers of committal will be in the Bradford County Memorial Park, Luther Mills.
