Ralph S. Seifert, 90, formerly of Easton, Pa. passed away on Saturday, April 25, 2015 at Absolut Care of Endicott, NY. Ralph was born on January 7, 1925 in Easton, Pa., a son of the late Charles and Ada (Beers) Seifert. Ralph was a 1943 graduate of Easton High School and attended Lafayette College & University of Pennsylvania. He served as an Electronic Technician, 3rd Class Mate, during World War II, serving in the Pacific Theatre. In addition, he also served at Submarine Repair Bases in Brisbane, Australia and Subic Bay, Philippine Islands. He last served on the USS Brill, SS330 Submarine. Ralph received the Victory Medal, American Theatre Medal and Atlantic Pacific Medal. Ralph was a member of the Prosperity Lodge #567 F&AM in Riegelsville, Pa; served as a Warrant Member and Past Master of General Marquis De Lafayette Lodge #795 F & AM. Prior to that he was a member of Dallas Lodge #396 F & AM. Ralph was a former member of Tall Cedars of Lebanon Easton Forest #35 and Lehigh Consistory of Allentown. In addition he was a member of Rajah Temple Shrine, where he was a member of the Reception Committee and the Rajah Temple Oriental Band. Ralph also was a member of the Lester Pfeffer American Legion Post #611 and the Wilson Boro Republican Club. Ralph is survived by his loving wife of nearly 67 years, Lois C. (Huston) Seifert; his son and daughter-in-law: Gary R. and Susie (Darling) Seifert of Warren Center, Pa; his grandchildren: Sarah Seifert, Bette Seifert, Sara Chaffee, James (Kelly) Chaffee, Tim (Abbie) Chaffee; great grandchildren: Hunter, Jordyn, Isaiah, Josie and Luna. Ralph was predeceased by his siblings: Mildred, Grace, Arthur and Donald. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, April 29th at 10 am at the Absolut Care Nursing Home, 301 Nantucket Drive, Endicott, NY with Pastor David Nelson, officiating.
