Ralph Wilks, 63, of Dafter, Michigan, passed away peacefully at his home the evening of Tuesday, March 1, 2017 from the effects of Progressive Bulbar Palsy, a form of ALS. Ralph was born on September 3, 1953, in Sayre, Pennsylvania, to Duane and Joan (Pitcher) Wilks. He is survived by his beloved wife, Ranon (Smith) Wilks, of Dafter, Michigan, as well as his sons Matt (Kim) Wilks, Jason (Erinn) Wilks, mother Joan Kuenzli, and grandchildren Macy, Clay and Colton, all of Warren Center Pennsylvania. He is preceded in death by his Father, Duane Wilks, and stepfather Earl Kuenzli, grandparents, aunts and uncles. Ralph and Ranon have been devoted to one another for 19 years. Their unparalleled teamwork and good-natured ribbing was visible to anyone visiting them. He was quick to help anyone who needed a hand. Ralph loved people, told jokes and was fun, smart, and industrious. He was proud of his sons and their accomplishments and very much enjoyed visiting and spending time with them. He was a good man who will be greatly missed by those who knew him. Family and friends are invited to attend a period of visitation on Thursday, March 9th from 3 to 5 pm at the Warren Center Community Building. A memorial service will follow at 5 pm followed by a dinner and time of sharing. Burial will be taking place at the Mountain View Memorial Cemetery in Cottonwood Heights, Utah.
