Raymond J. Schroeder

Raymond J. Schroeder, 84, of Cotton Hollow Rd., Rome, Pa passed away at home on Wednesday, May 7, 2014. Raymond was born on July 7, 1929 in Scranton, Pa a son of Raymond and Helen Schroeder. He proudly served his country with the US Army during the Korean Conflict. Raymond enjoyed spending time outdoors amongst Mother Nature's beauty. He had a great love for animals and attended the Windham Center Community Church with his daughter Barbara. Ray was predeceased by his wife Joyce in 2005 and will be greatly missed by his daughter Barbara Reiger; a granddaughter, three great grandbabies, a son; sister Jean Miller of Harrisburg, Pa; brother-in-law Cal Oney of Susquehanna, Pa; three nieces, two nephews and numerous friends. Family and friends are invited to attend a graveside service on Saturday, May 10, 2014 at 12:30pm at the Darling Cemetery with Pastor William Koehler, officiating.
