Rebecca Ann (Allis) Dewing, known affectionately as Beck to her husband and family, and as Becky to her friends, , passed away peacefully on January 24, 2026, at the age of 72, surrounded by her family at her home in Wyalusing, PA. Born on January 15, 1954, Beck's life was marked by her unwavering kindness, faith, and dedication to her loved ones and community.

Beck is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 50 years, David A. Dewing, with whom she shared a lifetime of memories and unwavering commitment. Together, they raised their son Chad L. Dewing, who, along with his wife Yana (Reinhard) Dewing, brought joy into her life. Beck cherished the moments she spent with her special grandson, Arthur Alexandre Dewing, whose presence added a sparkle to her eyes. Chad's best friend, Waylon Smith, was a second son to Becky, he found a second home and family with the Dewing’s during his later high school years, and will hold Becky's memory close to his heart forever.

She also leaves behind her sisters, Raymeta and her husband James Crawford, and Rosemarie "Pose" and her husband Greg Foster. Her family circle extended to her nephews, Casey (Nicole) Crawford and Cory (Christina) Crawford, and she adored her great-niece Hailey Crawford and great-nephews Noah, Rylan, and Finley Crawford. Beck's many cousins will hold on to her memory with fondness and love. She was predeceased by her parents, Raymond R. and Betty (Karpauitz) Allis, and her grandparents, Clair C. and Retha (Fox) Allis.

Becky was a proud graduate of Northeast Bradford High School, Class of 1971, and furthered her education at Mansfield University, where she earned a BA in Human Relations/Psychology. Her career was closely tied to her family's roots, working at the family business, C. C. Allis’s, where she dedicated 42 years of service.

A woman of deep Christian faith, Beck was a long time member of the Rome Presbyterian Church. Her voice graced the choir, and her leadership shone through as a Sunday school teacher and children's choir ministry. She also served diligently as the Sunday School treasurer. Her love for her community was evident as she frequently participated in church spaghetti dinners and ice cream socials.

Becky's commitment to education and the arts was exemplified through her involvement with the music boosters at Northeast Bradford, supporting her son Chad and his peers in the marching band. Although she dabbled in ceramics, her main hobby was working with people. She relished her role as the family's navigator during auto vacations, firmly believing, as Ralph Waldo Emerson once said, "Life is a journey, not a destination."

Always dressed for success and brimming with sass, Becky was the embodiment of kindness, compassion, and humor. Her organizational skills were unmatched, and she approached life with a sense of purpose and joy.

We will gather for a period of visitation on Friday, January 30th from 3 to 6pm at the Hope Community Church, 5864 Jackson Valley Rd., Warren Center, PA 18851. A period of visitation will also be held on Saturday, January 31st from 10 to 11am. A celebration of her life will follow. Those unable to attend may watch the live stream at:
