No farewell words were spoken, no time to say goodbye, you were gone before we knew it, and only God knows why……our hearts were broken on Wednesday, February 12, 2014 with the sudden passing of our loving son, father, brother and grandpa Richard C. Ham, of Windham, Twp. Richard was born on January 18, 1952 in Meshoppen, Pa., a son of Edward C. and the late Madeline (Stevens) Kaminski. He was a 1969 graduate of Northeast Bradford High School and for many years owned and operated Ham Logging in Rome. Richard enjoyed spending time outdoors surrounded by mother nature, fishing, watching NASCAR and attending logging tournaments. He will be greatly missed by his children: his son and daughter-in-law: Richard and Marsha Ham of Rome, Pa; his daughter and son-in-law: Nicole and Robert Ellis of Tioga Center, NY; his father Edward Kaminski of Windham; grandchildren: Deven Nauta, Cullen Nauta, Malacci Ham, Tucker Ham, Chelsey Fallon and Adam Wayman. His siblings: Robert Stevens, David Ham (Terri LaBarre); Louise Woodruff, Connie (Scott) Schmeckenbecher; Debbie Ham, Diane (Bill) Ziegler; numerous nieces, nephews and their families; and loved ones Pam, Cassandra and Emery. Rick was predeceased by his mother Madeline Kaminski; siblings Gail Waltman, Bonnie Maryott, and Leo Seymour. A time of sharing memories and stories will be held on Sunday, February 16, 2014 from 5 to 7 pm at the Sutfin Funeral Chapel, 273 South Main St., Nichols.
