Richard D. Dimon

Richard "Dick" Dimon of Nichols Richard "Dick' Dimon, 75, went to be with his Lord, July 29, 2007, after a 12 yr. disability following a stroke. He is survived by his wife of 30 yrs, Harvalee Dimon. Three sons; David Smales, Andrew Smales & Lee (Julia) Dimon; and two daughters: Darlene Voda and Linda Chamberlain, 2 step sons, Kenneth (Charlotte) Chaffee and Gary (Wendy) Chaffee; 2 step daughters; Cindy (Robert) Fasulo and Linda ( Randy) Jacobs; 17 grandchildren, 12 step grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, 16 step grandchildren. He was predeceased by his mother Agnes and father, Davis Smales. Dick worked as an inspector at American LaFrance for 20 yrs. before he retired. There will be a memorial service at the Faith Christian Fellowship Church, cor. of Penn. Ave. and Beach Rd., Apalachin on August 8th, at 6 pm, with funeral at 7pm. In lieu of flowers a donation can be sent to the Faith Christian Fellowship Church Missionary Fund. Caring assistance is being provided by the Cooley Family of the Sutfin Funeral Chapel, 273 South Main St., Nichols.
