Richard H. "Rick" Wilson of Great Bend, PA

Richard H. "Rick" Wilson, aged 74, passed away peacefully on December 29, 2025. Born on November 13, 1951, in Binghamton, NY, Rick was a man whose life was characterized by the love he had for his family, the joy he took in his work, and the kindness he extended to all who knew him.

Rick is survived by his beloved children, Dawn, Julie, Richard, Rachael, Morgan, and Tyler, who will cherish his memory along with his twelve adored grandchildren. He also leaves behind his siblings, Gary and Amy Wilson, Kenneth Scott Wilson, Luann and Bill Squires, and Kathleen and John Williams, as well as several nieces, nephews, and their families, all of whom will miss his warm presence. Rick was predeceased by his parents, Della (Hawley) and Richard H. Wilson, and his loving wife, Karmen Smith.

Rick's professional life was spent as a skilled carpenter and contractor, employed by R & W Construction in Florida, a family company where he not only contributed his expertise but also formed lasting friendships.

Beyond his professional accomplishments, Rick was an avid outdoorsman who found solace and joy in nature. He enjoyed fishing and duck hunting. Additionally, he was a dedicated NY Giants football fan, bringing his family together to cheer on their favorite team, creating memories that would last a lifetime.

Rick was best described as kind, friendly, and handy. He was the kind of man who would offer help before it was asked for and whose generosity knew no bounds. His hands, always ready to build or fix, were matched by a heart willing to give and love.
