Robert "Bobby" E. Gray

Don't grieve for me, for now I'm free. I'm following the path God has laid you see. I took his hand when I heard Him call. I turned my back and left it all….With broken hearts, we mourn the loss of Robert E. "Bobby" Gray, 80, of Vero Beach, Florida and formerly of Athens, PA. Bobby was born on May 16, 1936 in Villa Rica, Ga and gained his heavenly wings on March 6, 2017. He was a long time employee of Paxar and retired following twenty years from Piper Aircraft as there Manager of the print shop. Bobby enjoyed hunting, fishing and scuba diving with his daughter. Until we meet again, Dad, may you find comfort in the arms of the angels. Those left to cherish his memory, are his wife Gloria of Vero Beach, Fla; his daughter Lisa Gray of Vero Beach; his son and daughter-in-law: Brady and Amy Gray of Rome, Pa; his siblings: Becky Moore of Buford, Ga; Margaret (Rodney) Pitcher of Warren Center, Pa; Allene (Gary) Whaley of Gainsville, Ga; Annie Ruth (Cecil) Reeves of Ga; Linda Puckett of Ga; a sister-in-law: Shirley Grey of Rome, Pa; and Nancy Murray of Sebastian, Fla; his grandchildren: Tiffany Burkhart and Scott McCutcheon; four great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and their families along with his beloved dog "Inky" survive. Bobby was predeceased by his mother Jessie Platt; his brothers: Bill Grey and Clifford Puckett; brothers-in-law: Donald Murray and McHoyt Moore. Family and friends are invited to attend a graveside service on Thursday, March 16th at 10 AM with Pastor C. Kenneth Crain, officiating.
