Robert "Red" L. Kitchen, Sr

Robert L. "Red" Kitchen, Sr., 59, of Windham, Pennsylvania passed away on Tuesday morning, March 12, 2019. Red, as he was affectionately known by his family and friends was born on December 26, 1959 in Sayre, Pa a son of Genevieve (Slater) and Alfred Kitchen, Sr. Red was a long time employee of Rynone Manufacturing having worked with them for over 22 years. He enjoyed watching WWF Wresting, playing a good game of darts with his friend Tom Higgins, playing horseshoes and BINGO. He also enjoyed a relaxing day at home cheering on the Jets and Green Bay Packers. Red will be greatly missed by his wife of 39 years, Doris (Sibley) Kitchen; his sons: Tracy Kitchen (Taneesha Fields) of Windham; John Kitchen (Amanda Frederick) of Sayre, Pa; Robert L, Kitchen, Jr., (Joy Rafferty) of Windham; his brothers and sister-in-law: Roger Hitchcock and Bailey (Judy) Hitchcock; a brother-in-law and sister-in-law: Steve and Becky Sibley of Barton; several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. Red was predeceased by his parents Genevieve and Alfred Kitchen, Sr., a brother Alfred Kitchen, Jr., and a sister-in-law: Karen Hitchcock. Family and friends are invited to attend a period of visitation on Saturday, March 16th from 10 to 12 pm at the Sutfin Funeral Chapel, 273 S. Main St., Nichols. Following the visitation all are invited luncheon and period of fellowship will be held at the Windham Fire Hall. Please bring your favorite dish and memories to share with us.
