No farewell words were spoken, no time to say goodbye, you were gone before we knew it, and only God knows why....Our loving Dad, Pop-Pop ~ Poppy, brother and friend Roland "Rocky" L. Williams, 59, of Towner Hill Rd., Rome, Pa went to his heavenly home, on Friday, January 9th, 2015. Rocky was born on October 15, 1955 in Towanda, Pa a son of the late Lyle and Katherine (Updegraff) Williams. He was a graduate of Northeast Bradford High School class of 1973 and for 40 years was employed at Masonite as a Lab Technician. Devoted to his church, Rocky was a member of the Warren Center United Methodist Church where he served as a Deacon. Rocky found great comfort in his Bible, attending multiple Bible Studies and sharing the Gospel with others. He also enjoyed outdoor activities like fishing and golf. Rocky loved visiting and calling family, friends and neighbors. Rocky will be greatly missed by his son and daughter-in-law: Daniel and Casey Williams; a daughter and son-in-law, Nicole and Casey Crawford; a sister and brother-in-law: Linda and Wayne Filipek; his special grandchildren that he loved so very much ~ Hannah, Hailey and Noah; sister-in-law and brother-in-law: Lynda Williams and Robert Fisher. Several nieces, nephews and their families also survive. Rocky was predeceased by his parents and his siblings: Connie Sowers, Lyle Williams, and Joanne Fisher. Family and friends are invited to attend a period of visitation on Friday, January 16th from 6 - 8 pm at the Warren Center United Methodist Church. Funeral services and a celebration of Rocky's life will be held on Saturday, January 17th at 10 am at the church. A period of visitation will also be held at the church from 9 am until the time of the service on Saturday.
