Rosemarie "Dolly" Amato

Rosemarie "Dolly" Amato, 80, of Amato Hill Lane, Rome, PA, passed peacefully at home Monday morning, May 18, 2015. Born as Rosemary Pallone in Johnstown, PA, in 1934, she was married for 59 years to the late Sergio Amato, and was a loving mother to her four children and their spouses: Michael Amato and Ellen Amato, also of Rome, PA; Maria Kravitz and Stanford Kravitz, of New York City; Carol Amato of Venice, Florida, and Mark Amato and Rachel Amato, of Hershey PA. She will be missed and remembered for her wonderful cooking and fierce Scrabble skills by her nine grandchildren: Michael Amato, Michelle Amato, Jessica Amato, Samantha Amato, Paul and Andrew Strealer, Corinna, Jacob, and Riley Brodeur.
