Rowena Buck Stone

Rowena Buck Stone, 55, of Laurel Road,Greene, NY passed away peacefully following a courageous battle with Cancer on Saturday morning, September 11, 2010. "Roe" as she was affectionately known by her family and friends is survived by her husband Gary L. Stone; her father Douglas Buck; her sons and daughters-in-law: William and Jessica Merrill; Dayburn and Julie Merrill; sisters Sharon Lindhorst; Brenda (Bill) Decker; brother Gale (Jackie) Buck; her grandson Gabriel; nephews Travis Fisher, Travis Miles and Nicki Buck. Roe was welcomed into heaven by her mother Marie Chilson Buck. She always looked forward to spending time outdoors, was an animal lover and a collector of Winnie the Pooh. She will be greatly missed by her family and many friends. Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial service on Tuesday, September 14th at 3 pm at the Berean Bible Church, with Pastor Justin Bleuer, officiating. A time of sharing memories will follow with a luncheon. Interment and graveside services will be held on Wednesday, September 15th at 11 am at the Nichols Cemetery.
