S. James Clark

January 28, 1931 — November 1, 2010

If tears could build a stairway, and memories a lane~we'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again….Our hearts were saddened on Monday evening, November 1st, 2010 with the passing of our loving husband, dad, grandpa, brother, uncle and friend…..S. James Clark, of RR 2, Windham, Pa. Jim was born on January 28, 1931 in Atlantic City, NJ a son of the late Samuel W. and Elizabeth (Greene) Clark. He was a graduate of Nichols High School class of 1949 and following graduation enlisted in the US Army to serve his county. Dedicated to his family, Jim treasured the time spent with them. He was a man of great knowledge, a eccentric collector and enjoyed sharing poetry and song with those who would visit. He will be greatly missed by his family and many friends. Jim is survived by his wife of 46 years, Carol B. (Taylor) Clark; his children: Elaine Nichols (Dave Lutzkanin, Jr.); William (Shari) Clark; MaryHelen (Charlie) MacDonald; Samuel James (Melissa) Clark, III; his special grandchildren: Katrina, Scott, Amanda, Taylor, Zachary, Garrett, Michael, Keegan, Eryn, Jace, Samantha, Sophia, Emelia, Stephenie and Christopher. Brothers and sisters-in-law David and Pat Clark; Paul and Marta Clark; sisters and brother-in-law: Susan Healy, Ruth and C. Kenneth Crain; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law: Roberta and Jim Honnick, Dolores and Doug Martin, Louise and George Beville; several nieces, nephews and their families also survive. Funeral services and a celebration of Jim's life will be held on Saturday, November 6th at 12 noon at the Sutfin Funeral Chapel, 273 S. Main St., Nichols with Pastor C. Kenneth Crain, Pastor Dan Martin and Pastor Samuel Clark, officiating. Interment and prayers of committal will follow in the Kenneth Buck Cemetery, (located behind the Windham Summit Bible Church) A period of visitation and time of sharing memories will be held on Friday, November 5th from 7 to 9 pm at the Sutfin Funeral Chapel.
