Sally Mae McDonald, a life long resident of Nichols passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, October 27, 2024 following months of endless striving and many struggles. Sally went to be with Jesus and her loved ones in Heaven. She joined her husband Lloyd, her parents Purl and Edith Rogers, brother Purl Rogers, Jr., and great grandson Jonah Gallo.

Sally is survived by her daughter and son-in-law: Becky and Phil Gallo; her granddaughter Heidi; grandson Joe (Jessica) Gallo; great grandchildren: Noah and Gracelynn. Sally formed many lasting friendships in her 30 year career at the Nichols and surrounding Post Offices. She and Lloyd spent many years camping at Lake Bonin, traveling and wintering in Florida.

Sally loved her beautiful Hill View Farm and she was thankful to spend her last nine months looking at the amazing view and beauty. Many thanks to the Hospice team, especially Heather and Nicki. A special thank you to all for the many visits, phone calls and cards.

We will gather on Wednesday, October 30th at 1 pm at the Nichols Cemetery for a graveside service.
