Samuel A. Race

Samuel Amos Race, age 69 passed away Tuesday, March 27, 2012 in Sebring, Florida. He was born in Dallas, Pennsylvania to Charles Alexander and Ida O. (Cook) Race. He was a Truck Driver, of the Baptist faith and had been a resident of Avon Park since 1998 coming from Candor, New York. He is survived by his wife-Mildred Race of Avon Park, Florida; brothers-Elmer Race (Margaret) of Nungola, Pennsylvania, Dana Race (Marilyn) of Falls, Pennsylvania, Olin Race (Elsie) of Anchorage, Alaska, Walter Race (Marilyn) of Meshoppen, Pennsylvania, Daniel Race (Dorla) of Avon Park, Florida, George Race (Joyce) of Falls, Pennsylvania and Jacob Race of Meshoppen, Pennsylvania; many nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Family and friends are invited to attend graveside service will be held on Tuesday, April 3rd at 10 am at the Riverside Cemetery in Whitney Point, NY.
