Sarah A. Smith

May 19, 1987 — August 23, 2021

When tomorrow starts without me don't think we're far apart For every time you think of me, I'm right here in your heart ~ Sarah Ann Smith, 34, of Nichols was reunited with her twin sister Kelsey Lynn Smith. Sarah was welcomed into our world on May 19, 1987 and our hearts were broken on Monday evening, August 23, 2021 when she took her last breath and went home to be with her sister and those that had gone on before. Sarah was a graduate of Tioga Central High School Class of 2005 and received her Associates Degree from Broome Community College. She continued her education, but was just a few credits away from receiving her Bachelor's degree in Psychology and Biology. Sarah was an avid baker, loved to spend time reflecting and nurturing her gardens and was a talented crafter. Sarah often found humor in things and had a charming and witty outlook on life. She will be greatly missed by her parents Kathleen and Charles Chambers; Warren Smith and Robyn Judge; her companion Daryl Labour, her children: Carson Michael, age 11; Payton Elizabeth age 6; and Ryan Joseph age 2. Her sisters and brother-in-law: Kyla and Philip Baker; Cassie Chambers. Grandma Helen Smith; aunts and uncles: Susan (Jim) Douglas, Kevin Robinson, Colin Robinson, Karen Smith; nieces and nephews: Lincoln, Lucy, Mason, Madelyn and Kallie. Many cousins and friends also survive. Sarah was welcomed into heaven by her twin sister Kelsey; maternal grandparents: Robert and Elizabeth Robinson; Paternal grandparents: Rita and Jim Youngs; Warren Smith. A gathering to celebrate and remember Sarah's life will be held on Sunday, August 29th from 11am to 1 pm at Kirby Park.
