Scott Allan Schofield Sr.

No farewell words were spoken, no time to say goodbye, you were gone before we knew it, and only God knows why…..Our hearts were broken on Tuesday, April 1, 2014 when our loving son, brother, father, grandpa, uncle and friend Scott Allan Schofield, 35, of Owego passed away. "Sammy" as he was known by his family and friends was born on April 5, 1978 in Danbury, CT a son of Judy (Noe) and Daniel Schofield. He enjoyed fishing, was an avid NY Giants fan and watching football although his greatest pleasure was being surrounded by his family and his children. Scott will be missed by his mother Judy Schofield of Owego; his father Daniel Schofield, Sr., of CT; his fianc Leah Rafalko of Owego; his children: Alisha Schofield, Scottie Schofield, Jr., Joseph "Joey" Schofield; a grandson Jayson Mahler; brother Daniel Schofield, Jr., of Candor; sister and brother-in-law: Lisa and Mark Stone of Barton; many special aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. He was welcomed into heaven by his infant daughter Jordan Elizabeth Schofield. It broke our hearts to lose you, but you didn't go alone, for part of us went with you the day God called you home….. Family and friends are invited to attend a period of visitation and time of sharing memories on his birthday, Saturday, April 5th from 9-11 am at the Sutfin Funeral Chapel, 273 S. Main St., Nichols. Funeral services and a celebration of his life will follow at 11 am with Pastor Donna Martin, officiating.
