Scott Charles Hunt

Scott Charles Hunt, 44, of Wilmington, North Carolina and formerly of Nichols, New York passed away Tuesday, October 2, 2007. Scott was born February 22, 1963 in Waverly, NY. Scott loved to spend time with his family going to amusements parks, skiing with his kids, dirt bike riding with his son, camping, hunting and fishing. Scott worked in road construction for the past 21 years. Surviving are his wife Victoria (Vicki), daughter Ashley and son Adam at home, mother and stepfather Norma and Ed Engelbert, Nichols, NY., father and stepmother Charles and Pauline Hunt, Rome, PA, sisters Wendy Kurtz and husband Andy, Macedon, NY, Shannon Huxtable, Nichols, NY, brothers Don Hunt and wife Nadine, Manorville, NY., Damon Hunt and wife Dena, Watertown, NY., nephews Aaron and Tristen Kurtz and Josh and Ryan Hunt and a large extended family including Eddie Taylor. A time of remembering the special gift Scott was to all of us will be held on Monday, October 8, 2007 at 1 pm at the Sutfin Funeral Chapel, 273 South Main St., Nichols. Interment and prayers of committal will follow in the Tioga Point Cemetery, Athens. A period of visitation and sharing will be held on Sunday, October 7th from 6 to 8 pm at the funeral chapel.
