Sergio Amato

Surrounded by his family, Sergio Amato, 91 of Amato Hill Lane, Rome, Pa passed away peacefully Friday evening, November 11, 2011. Sergio was born on January 5, 1920 in Molfetta, Italy a son of the late Michele and Maria (DePinto) Amato. Sergio was employed as a Mason~Brick Layer for many years. He treasured his family and enjoyed traveling to Las Vegas; watching the Mets and playing cards. He will be greatly missed by his wife of 59+ years, Rosemarie (Pallone) Amato; sons and daughters-in-law: Michael and Ellen Amato; Mark and Rachael Amato; daughters: Maria Elisa Amato; Carol Ann Amato; grandchildren: Michael Sergio Amato; Michelle Alice Amato; Jessica Mae Amato, Samantha Rose Amato; Paul and Andrew Strealer; Corina, Riley and Jacob Brodeur. A sister-in-law: Josephine Amato. Abiding with his wishes there will be no services.
