Sharon J. Marshall, 64 Surrounded by her family, Sharon J. Marshall, 64, of Potterville Rd., Rome, Pa passed away on Saturday, September 10, 2011. Sharon was born on October 14, 1946 in Windham, Pa a daughter of Evalee (Collins) and the late Lowell Goodwin. A dedicated and hard worker, while living and working in Maryland Sharon worked for a laundry mat. In 1967, she married James Marshall and in 1974 they moved to Pennsylvania. She was a employee of SCI and Sanmina in Owego until 2004 when she was placed on disability. A devoted wife, mother and grandmother, Sharon treasured the time spent with her family. She also enjoyed cooking, jig saw puzzles, shopping and visiting the casino with her dear friends Betty and Helen. In addition to her mother, Evalee; Sharon is survived by her children: Phoebe (Raymond) Root of LeRaysville, PA; Donna (Jim Bride) Marshall of Towanda, Pa; Karen Robinson of Virginia; Tammy Hickey of Pennsylvania and James Marshall, Jr. of Rome, Pa; her siblings: Marvin (Sue) Goodwin, Donald "Red" (Mary) Goodwin, Allen Goodwin; Dale (Jamie Gerhart) Ham; Thomas Collins; Donna (Jim) Rook; Kathy (Bruce) Covert; Margaret "Peggy" (Jerry) Ebel; Dawn (Paul) Heckman; Ginny (Eric) Thoman; grandchildren: Dustin, Katie, Casey, Brock, Taylor, Jason, Jacob, Lucus, Zachary, Tyler, Alexis and Riley; a great grandson Kaden; special friends Rick and Wendy Watson; and Lee Folsom; several nieces, nephews and their families also survive. Sharon was predeceased by her father Lowell Goodwin; husband James Marshall, Sr. on July 4, 2005; grandson Dylan James Marshall; siblings: James Goodwin, Cindy Goodwin; Bonnie Campbell; and Linda Lamphere. Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial service and celebration of her life on Friday, September 16 at 11 am at the United Church of Christ, Potterville with Pastor Tom Burlington, officiating. Interment and prayers of committal will follow in the Rome Cemetery.
