When I come to the end of the road, and the sun has set for me, remember the love that we have shared, and that will comfort thee…..Steven Carl McWain, 59, of Warren Center, Pa passed away on Saturday, March 26, 2016 ~ doing what he loved most to do fishing. Steve was born on February 12, 1957 in San Bernardino, CA a son of the late George Leon and Nellie Marguerite (Johnson) McWain. He attended school in Sayre and proudly served his country with the US Army. Steve was a long-time employee of BAE Systems. When not working, Steve enjoyed spending time reflecting outdoors whether it was hunting, fishing or splitting wood. He will be greatly missed by his wife Katherine "Kat" McWain, his son: Steven McWain; stepchildren: Christopher, Stephanie, Damien, Nikki and Danny. Several grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, cousins and numerous friends also survive. Steve was predeceased by his parents, George and Nellie McWain and his sister Deborah. Family and friends are invited to attend a period of visitation on Saturday, April 2, 2016 from 10 am to 12 pm at the Sutfin Funeral Chapel, 273 S. Main St., Nichols. A funeral service and celebration of his life will follow at 12 pm with Pastor Larry Jennings of the Warren Center Baptist Church.
