Susan J. Culver

Susan J. Culver, 66, of Douglas Drive, Waverly NY passed away early Monday morning, April 15, 2013 at the Robert Packer Hospital following a courageous battle with extended illnesses. Sue was born on September 22, 1946 in Sayre PA, she was the daughter of the late Kenneth and Marion "Jean" Baxter. A loving and caring mother and grandmother, Sue treasured the time spent with her family. She enjoyed cooking, completing crossword puzzles and gardening. She will be greatly missed by her by her brother, Kenneth Baxter Jr. of Warrenton VA; sons, Jeffrey Nichols of Endicott NY and Eric Bleiler of Waverly NY; her grandson, Trever Smith, of Athens PA; step-daughters, Jami Arne of Amherst NY and Nicole Culver D'Ambrosio of Manlius NY, and sister-in-laws, Beverly O'Brien of Corning NY, Mary Lou Kitchen , of Sayre PA, and Hazel Catlin, of South Waverly PA. Several nieces, nephews and their families also survive. Sue was predeceased by her parents and her loving husband Donald Culver in 1999. Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial service and celebration of Sue's life on Friday, April 19th at 2pm at the Sutfin Funeral Chapel, 273 S. Main St., Nichols. A private interment will be held in the Nichols Cemetery.
