Theodore C. Harding, 88, of Windham (RR2, Rome, PA) went home to be with his Lord and was reunited with his wife Euleta on Monday morning, February 25, 2008. Ted was born on February 6, 1920 in Owego, New York a son of the late Eugene and Kathryn (Ballou) Harding. On May 22, 1937 he married Euleta Brown and together they celebrated 60 years of marriage until her passing on September 8, 1997. For many years, Ted owned and operated a the family farm in Windham. He was a member of the Windham Center Community Church. Ted enjoyed watching western movies and farming although his greatest pleasure was being surrounded by his family and grandchildren. Ted is survived by his son and daughter-in-law: Duane and Ethel Harding, daughter and son-in-law: Peggy and Raymond Decker; daughter Sharon Brown all of Rome, Pa; brother Robert Harding of Middletown, NY; sister Vivian Robinson of Massachuetts; grandchildren: Jeffrey (Sue) Harding, Wanda (Ignasious) Allen, Lisa (Mike) Horton, Tina (Dennis) Frisbie; Russell (Eleanor) Decker, LaRita Jayne; Michael (Alisha) Decker, Andrew (Lynn) Decker, Christine (Jason) Nolt; Susan (Chad) Rogers; Shawn Brown; Lawana (Mark) Morse; Lynette (Carl) Higley; Dusty (Lisa) Harding; Donna (Donald) Eastabrook; Donald (Irene) Harding; forty-seven great grandchildren; four great great grandchildren, his special friend and companion Roberta Howe; several nieces, nephews, and his faithful dog Shado also survive. Ted was predeceased by his parents, Eugene and Kathryn Harding, his wife Euleta; son Donald Harding; son-in-law Orlando F. Brown; siblings: John Harding, William Harding, Roger Harding, Carol Buck and Marion Harding. A time of remembering the special gift Ted was to all of us will be held on Saturday, March 1, 2008 at 11 am at the Sutfin Funeral Chapel, 273 South Main St., Nichols with his pastor Rev. William Kohler, officiating. Interment will follow in the Valley Home Cemetery, Windham. A period of visitation and sharing memories will be held at the funeral chapel on Friday evening, February 29th from 6 to 8 pm.
