Gone yet not forgotten, although we are apart, your spirit lives within us, forever in our hearts…..Thomas M. Ryan, 75, of Windham, passed away on Friday morning, March 29, 2019 at the Bradford County Manor in West Burlington, Pa. "Rhino" as he was affectionately known by his family and friends was born on February 3, 1944 in Endicott, NY a son of the late Alson Ryan and Evelyn L. (Schafenberg) Huddle and step son of Donald Huddle. He attended school at Northeast Bradford and proudly served his country with the US Navy. Tom enjoyed reading, watching NASCAR where he cheered on Tony Stewart and Kyle Busch. Many will remember Tom as Nichols' local watchman ~ he was a wealth of knowledge about who did what and when…. Tom will be missed by his sister and brother-in-law: Jean and Don Brown; his brother and sister-in-law: William and Mary Ryan all of Windham, Pa; a brother-in-law: Emory Ball of Nichols; several nieces, nephews, cousins and their families also survive. Tom was predeceased by his parents; a sister Judith Ball and a nephew James Brown. Family and friends are invited to attend a period of visitation on Wednesday, April 3rd from 5 to 7 pm at the Sutfin Funeral Chapel, 273 S. Main St., Nichols. A memorial service and celebration of his life will follow at 7pm. Tom will be laid to rest next to his mom in the Nichols Cemetery.
